A Simple DreamIt’s after a sports carnival, but it’s not just one school there. My boyfriend’s talking to some of his friends and I’m standing against a flag pole further away. Rooftops Chapter 19 + BLThe door only opened a few inches; a thin figure entered the room quietly, shutting the door immediately behind him as if relieved to be enveloped in darkness again. The figure had Nax's colour hair, but it was flat and dull, his skin was pale in the moonlight washing through the window, and his eyes were cold and dead, the only emotion able to be found behind the frozen stillness being sorrow. Bradie took all of this in within a second, however in a fleeting glance all of Nax's facial features sprang to life... and painted a picture of nothing but terror. Jak said Nax didn't want to see anyone, but he knew it was namely him. Bradie picked up his sketchbook and looked through the vibrant drawings of only days before; sketches which assembled to a striking image of Nax's elfish smile. A smile he missed.
